Full payment is required upon booking via online card payments. Accepted cards are VISA,  Master cards and AMEX.

As Iceland does not use Euro, the registration fee will be charged in Icelandic krona (ISK). We have calculated the amount based on the credit card exchange rate as of June 17th 2024; where we exchange 153.47 ISK for each Euro.
The registration fees are thus as follows:

  • Full early registration is 105.900 ISK (or €690)
  • Student registration is 76.700 ISK (or €500)
  • Full registration, after July 22nd, is 121.200 ISK (or €790)

Conference dinner is included in the registration fee but you need to inform us if you will be attending or not.

Accommodation

Rooms have been prebooked for attendees, both at Hotel Reykjavík Natura ( located near the conference venue) & Hotel Leifur Eiríksson (located in the city centre)

We require full payment for the hotel upon booking.
All prices include breakfast and all taxes.

Please email info@komum.is to cancel or change your accommodation booking, at least 30 days prior to your arrival date to avoid additional fees.
If you need to cancel your accommodation booking within 30 days of your arrival date any cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy.

Terms and Conditions
Changes to the registration must be sent in writing to info@komum.is, an ISK 4000 administration fee will be charged for any changes needed. If you need to cancel your accommodation booking within 30 days of your arrival date any cancellation fees will be subject to the hotel cancellation policy. Neither the organizing committee nor KOMUM conferences can be held responsible for any financial loss resulting from exchange rate fluctuations.
